Delta Air Lines B764's @ JFK

Since the demise of Song and the enhanced European service as Delta grows NYC as a focus city and JFk as an International Hub. Delta has now started flying the Boeing 767-432ER's into Kennedy. I believe this now makes them the only operator of this type into JFK? If you haven’t seen the B764 yet at JFK keep yours eyes open and your cameras ready. I managed to get a couple of pictures while taxing to the American terminal on a flight last week. I uploaded one my picture's to MyAvaition.net of the B764 N184MH, I have given the link below.

Link to a picture of the N184MH below:

the only other North American operator of 764s are CO so yep your right Delta is and will be the only operator of 764s to JFK. BTW JFK is not a hub for Delta. JFK falls well behind SLC in flights per day and SLC is Delta's smallest hub. JFK is a International focus city for Delta.

Delta started out doing JFK-MCO with the 767-400 and now does MCO, MAN, and DUB. They are the only airline to fly the type into JFK considering the only other airline that operates 767-400s is Continental. I haven't been down to JFK in a while but I hope to catch them next time I'm down spotting.

I think I might just have to take the 767 from Orlando up to NY now some time soon. I hear that they fly like pigs though.

According to Delta.com, JFK is a Delta hub. Yes, it's mostly an international hub, but a hub nonetheless.

Delta.com can call it what it wants but by industry standards it is not a hub. Delta doesn't have the domestic feed into JFK as it does in ATL, SLC, and CVG. JFK's international expansion is relying very heavily on the huge amount of O&D traffic found in the NY Metro area.
