I must admit, Im torn between this. I love to eat Meat, but I do think killing is wrong. I have seen animals be beatne, smashed, and skinned alive, yes ALIVE. No perosn has the decency to shoot a simple bullet into the animal, wait for it to die, then treat it into food.

I have a video, EXTREMELY GRAPHIC but no nudity. I simply felt nasueous after reading and seeing the video.

This is more for fur trade, and stuff in China but sometimes the animals are beaing eaten.

    WARNING-GRAPHIC

You will see a raccoon and a Dog being skinned alived in this video.

I agree seeing an animal being beaten and skinned alive is pretty harsh. But for some of these cultures it just might be the way they do it. I respect PETA and what they do, but don't persecute me just because I'm hungry. And the number 6 reason is " Because meat is filthy and bloody", real good reason..

more stupid opinionated people wearing blinders trying to change the world. will they ever understand that people do things the way thier culture does things? at least i found my motivation for the range this weekend...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Their argument is pretty weak here.

The concept of PETA is great. Their extremism is stupid. To weigh human life as being equal to that of an animal is, I think, stupid. Not that animals aren't important, but when they choose animal rights over that of humans, you've gone a little too far. their ads are offensive, and it is scary to think that they'll actually win people over with such bull****.

As for vegetarianism, not eating meat is fine. But claiming that it's wrong.....is wrong. We have incisors for a reason. Do these people really mean to tell us that the human race has been wrong for millions of years, and now some hippy from the village is the first enlightened person because he's upset that animals die for food? Oh, all of nature is a part of the food chain....except us. Right.

I like the work PETA does though they try to scare people a bit. Killing animals for consumption is fine but I disagree with the seal pup beating and the fur stuff. That is terrible.

The idea behind PETA is great but their extremism has removed them from the mainstream who doesn't take them seriously. I for one think the beating of seal pups should be outlawed as well as the live skinning of animals.

I've seen the raccoon video before on another site. It took place at an open air market somewhere in China. Hearing the voices in the dog video it was probably also in China. It's convenient that PETA leaves that out. A couple billion people on this planet have yet to use a telephone. They can't afford to hold the same reverence for cute furry animals that we do. If some of them can make a few bucks making a coat for us rich Americans, more power to them. Watching a dog skinned alive is definitely not pleasant, but the world is a violent place, and I'd much rather see video of an animal being skinned than one of the merchant's children starving to death.
