    MAXjet Flight Today

This morning I looked on Fltyecomm and saw that no Maxjet flight was planned for today. However, Nick, Mel and I saw one (N260MY, the new one) depart 4L shortly after noon, and then it arrived back again a couple hours later on 31R.

does anyone know what this was about? Test flight of some sort?

I don't know what that was about, but today was the first time I've seen two Maxjets on the ground at the same time.

Yesterday while I was on the tarmac, I overheard that MaxJet had cleared a flight with the PA. They were yesterday, supposed to have have a 1 hour flight. Just a flight, beginning and ending at JFK.

As of when I left yesterday, Sunday, @1630, M250MY was towed from the gate to the apron near Terminal 1 and M260MY was parked near the cargo area, by the UPS planes.

So maybe Maxjet didnt get around to its hour flight til today and you caught it?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

I heard they were doing Pilot training but not sure exactly if the flight you saw was one of those training missions.

Very weird, it was only gone a couple of hours then returned. Senga should know!

Phil showed me his MaxJet shot from yesterday, I wish he'd post it. Simply the best shot of MaxJet to date!

Agreed. We got home yesterday and I fell right asleep....I woke up and he had edited a couple shots from the day. His MaxJet photo was one of those that just make you say "WOW"

One of the MaxJets was over at the old Air France Cargo building (end of cargo area C) today. Not sure why it was there, but its the only thing I can add to this thread.

Saw Phil's shot too, great job Phil, now upload it so me and mike aren't the only ones from here with it on anet. Lord knows Tommy is too busy at LAX trying to only shoot 747s from the tower now and eating cheeseburgers at IN-N-OUT.
