saw it on the way to EWR yesterday, inbound 22L, get them overhead all the time out Detroit way,but definitely a head turner over the old sod, I was in town on a quick rave to celebrate a good amigos b-day,and to celebrate life! went to this cajun place in the East village,Acme Bar&Grill,on Great Jones,3 blocks north of Bleecker, resonable prices, great Cajun, and PBR,and Rheingold in cans for 3 bucks a pop! in NYC,! in 2006 ! this was a quick one,non-revved in friday afternoon, and non-revved out next afternoon,on COeX 1250PM,back to 7 degrees F DTW.No time for spotting this go around, but I took the StatenIsland ferry for old times sake friday afternoon, on that choppy harbor,in those 50mph gusty winds, and watched, the 767s,737s, and 777s circling 29 for EWR,wingtips waggling in the bumps, watched the LGA inbounds go up the river, and caught a few 31L JFK departures in the distance doing the Canarsie and the Breezy Point climb, Over and out,God bless us everyone!
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

Well, it turned out to be a NW A330 today as well. Flytecomm had it as KLM at first before switching it over to NW.

But as Mike indicated, this is still going to be a limited opportunity to see these NW 330s at EWR.

It switches to DC-10's starting Thursday as mentioned somewhere previously on this site. Would love to get a Ten in new livery....

For those of you (me!) who missed the NW A330-300, you'll get a few more chances before they're gone....

    17MAR, 18MAR, 19MAR, 20MAR and 21MAR - NW A330-300 arrives 12:10pm

    22MAR, 23MAR, 24MAR are back to DC-10

    25MAR - NW A330-300 arrives 12:10pm

    26MAR, 27MAR, 28MAR - NW A330-300 arrives 10:45am, depart 3:30pm

29MAR - Back to KLM metal

    Good luck!

I'll need that luck Mike. I'm cursed trying to get this plane. Something always goes wrong.
