Wouldn't it be great if they flew out of JFK like the Thunderbirds did this last summer.

I was speaking with one of the pilots (Tbirds) this past May and he did say they were planning to use JFK for all future area shows. They were very pleased with the accomodations. Hopefully they'll pass the word onto the BA pilots/crew. If I happen to hear of anything I'll post.

But what kind of access do we have if they're at JFK? At least when they flew out of FRG a couple of years ago, you could get up close for photos and watch them launch & land. I was really disappointed that the T-Birds flew out of JFK.

I would much rather they flew out of FRG. Its a much more intimate setting and my kids loved getting the Blue Angel autographs.
