    Edelweiss A330-300 to operate for Swiss in Summer 13

    Some nice Christmas news for spotters... Starting March 31 the Edelweiss A330-300 will be replacing one of two daily flights from Zurich on Thursday's.

    Here's the schedule:

    LX016 ZRH0950 – 1235JFK 333 4*
    LX016 ZRH0950 – 1235JFK 333 x4
    LX014 ZRH1300 – 1550JFK 333 x4*
    LX014 ZRH1300 – 1550JFK 333 4

    LX017 JFK1810 – 0800+1ZRH 333 x4*
    LX017 JFK1810 – 0800+1ZRH 333 4
    LX015 JFK2100 – 1050+1ZRH 333 x4
    LX015 JFK2100 – 1050+1ZRH 333 4*

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news since I posted this thread but it looks like Swiss has clarified this matter and apparently the aircraft will be Swiss but operated with Edelweiss cabin/cockpit crew!

    The way I read it, it says aircraft cabins in SWISS configuration. Probably means Eidelweiss will change seat configs on its aircraft to match that of SWISS.

    After receiving an internal news memo I can unfortunately confirm that the flights will continue to be operated by SWISS aircraft but with an Edelweiss crew. :(
