Look at the photo! 743's were defineately made with Pratt's. I can think of at least two flagship carriers in the world who in fact flew them with Pratts. Swissair, Korean and just for **** and giggiles South African. Varig flew the 743 with the CF6 and a small number of others. Most carriers actually opted for the JT8 to maintain commonality. Please check facts prior to makeing baseless statements, assumptions and judgements.
Dude i'm 20. I've never seen many 300's and never saw a 300 with pratts. My info is uaually wrong and we all know it. I dont shy away though. I'm allowed to put my thoughts and info down if I desire to just like everybody else on this site.
Senga I know ehich one i'm talking about. I shot 354 in its Atlas days. Hell i've been on 354 before. According to what I have read SA has 354 currently.

If you know your information is wrong than why bother to put it up here for the world to point out? Just saying..... You make statements that are baseless on things that are easily verifyable via google, anet, this site or someones statement three posts above. Do yourself a favor and do research or put some credit behind you before you make statements. I've never even flown on Alaska before so would it make sense for me to say..... Alaska's service is terrible and their 737-400's are not well maintained? Probably not..... Just sayin'......
Southwest Airlines-"Once it pop's it's time to stop" Southwest Airlines-"Our Shamu's are almost real" Southwest Airlines -"We blow our top real easy" Southwest Airlines- "You can't top us..... really"

    Nlovis,
Yes it does fly for SOO now. However, you were talking about two different frames.
    N789SA vs N749SA.
