    Saw A388 Land on 31L

I spent my birthday on Sat. at my favorite place at JFK in T1. They were using the 31's as usual for my birthday. I spotted the Emirates A388 arrive on 31L at 1345. She then taxied over to T4. I think I also spotted the tail of Qatar Airways B773. This flight is not listed as a T4 arrival so it must be newly-introduced. The tail was white with red designs. I never saw this aircraft before. It's always good to see a new airline at JFK. I was disappointed with the JAL B773; I feel that the older B744 is more attractive (but less fuel efficient). Finally, I rode several times around the terminals on the AirTrain. It seems that the Port Authority no longer sends shuttle buses around the airport. I wonder what happened to all the bus drivers who used to be employed driving around JFK. Had fun.

By the way, I tried to find the Air International magazine with the JFK Poster in various bookstores around JFK. Sadly, none even carried any aviation magazines. One would think that aviation magazines would be sold at an airport. I found a copy at Rockefeller Center.

Barnes and Noble would have been the best option
