Its an independent rating agency but backed up by the Wall Street Journal which IMO has allot of creditable clout. Although I'm not sure about naming American Airlines as the world's leading Economy Class....

I would like to think AA would in fact be the leading Coach. Why not?
On the MD80, 738, 767, 777 they all have Headrest on board, which IMO is a HUGE bonus for me at least.
Minus the MD80 they have IFE of some sort in every aircraft on oboard.
I have flown NWA, DL, AA, SWA etc etc and IMO I believe AA has the best Coach Product. at least domestically.
****..I'd take an AA MD80 over a SWA 737 ANY DAY!
While the seat pitch is generous also!

AA- greatest economy cabin: NO!
I did not fly AA in a while, but i dont think think they have close to the greatest economy cabin. i think the one with the AVOD is only found on the 777( fix me if im wrong), and you cant judge it just on one aircraft in their fleet.

This cabin is nice, but i saw better.
For example this KLM 777 cabin. i think bigger screans, and a really nice blue color!
SAS is also very nice.
So is Virgin, Song (Delta) and probably many other airlines I didnt even fly on.
Wow, American's coach product does not compare in ANY way to other members of the One World alliance!
LAN has a pretty spectacular product as does Cathay, Qantas, and British.
