Rare Visitor to JFK Tonight - N727GG?

Noticed on Flightaware that Saudi-owned private 727-100 N727GG is due at JFK tonight from BGR (stopped there on the way from Europe), can anyone get a photo? It's apparently still in the green livery of Prince Waleed bin Talal, the guy famous for (among other things) offering NYC some $10 million in aid after 9/11 that Rudy Giuliani turned down.

    Very cool looking plane.

You can see it parked near DJ Air Services where N. Boundry Rd meets 150th Ave.

Very cool indeed! She used to fly with Delta Air Lines as N1636.

Good catch. Ray Kelly should lower the city's threat level to Yellow when this guy is in town.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Not sure she is still owned by Waleed, he has bigger and newer planes in his fleet, but she still bears his colors and apparently a Saudi flag despite the US registration. Presumably one of these convoluted ownership/registration schemes only available to the very wealthy!

Saw her leaving out today around 4:45pm. It was getting dark, though it was stil nice to see a 727 back at JFK.

wow this plane has been in this same livery for at least 17 years...

I saw it on the tarmac at MCO a day after an "emergency landing" after it lost one of the main wheels on take off from Grand Cayman. It was reg. HZ-WBT at that time.

HZ-WBT = HZ for Saudi Arabia and WBT for Waleed Bin Talal!

Anyway, GG went on to IAD, and I would guess it's not because Saudis love the northeast in February...

The Saudi 727-100 (N727GG) hit MCO this weekend with a nighttime arrival. I guess the pilot didn't know I was not in NYC at the time and flew to Orlando when they found out :)
    Taken on 2-11-07

Senga - good shot, amazing how they come to you!

That's def. Saudi flag by the door and Waleed's colors, but I wonder what the GG on the tail is for (and what sort of background check, if any, Saudis have to go through to register an aircraft in the USA)...

She's registered (N727GG) to the Trans-Gulf Corp in Palm Harbor FL, so I guess all you need is a US-based corporate address.

    WOoOWWW!!

That's like a flashback to the MCO of the early 90s!!! back when rare 727-100s were common here.

If I didn't know any better I would've bet that shot was taken back then. It was parked around there too when I saw it! Back in 2001 the A342 in that same livery payed MCO a visit as well, bringing one of those sheiks on a shopping spree, along with an AN-124 to bing back all the toys.

LOL about the ladder.. c'mon that's not the worst ladder I've seen! At least that one is see thru! Senga was lucky they didnt put thed solid ones that are usually left on the jets that park there.

I shot an Evergreen 747 back in Dec. and the ladder is in the same spot, same position too. I took it further away from the Galaxy parking lot. The ladder is the only thing laying around, looking tiny far away, as if the engine had blown it out of the way. Too bad I still had the big white solid ladder on the door...
