Wow that is a huge surprise! I guess they couldn't compete with Westjet and A/C. To bad.

Yup, this is end of Canjet's daily 735 (and occasional 733 sub) to LGA. Last flight to LGA will be Sun Sep 10th.

All sked services are being canned at midnight Sun Sep 10th. Most flights radiate from their 2 small hubs at YYZ and YHZ each with about 13 daily flights.

They will concentrate on sun charters. Likely reduce to something like 3-5 735's or so.

If nothing else, this will likely hasten WS's return to LGA. No announcements but WS's pullout from LGA was due to inconvenient slots.

Well the last LGA flight departed 13 a little while ago with 733 C-FHGE, which has actually been doing the LGA trips very often as of late, so I guess LGA loads must have been good.

Good luck to all the C6 employees effected by the end of scheduled service and downsize of the company.

    Cheers

I'm peeling those magnets off the walls of the check in counter first thing in the morning and I am not sad to get rid of their business.
