    Austrian "Philharmoniker" A340 to JFK March 1st

    Hi all!
    If you don't know it already, as far as i know the Austrian Philharmoniker A340 will be coming to JFK (with the Philharmonic Orchestra on board) today March 1st.

    Mario, scheduled is 1515 lcl, my Sabre computer shows a 40 min early ETA of 1435, but no times yet.

    I just drove by the Howard Beach spot on the way home (didn't stop just drove by) and I could have sworn it was a regular OS tail parked at T1 and not the Phil A340. I was going 50+ so I could be wrong.

    Good catch Senga! I guess from a distance the tail does look like the normal livery also. Very nice! I was too lazy and skipped it.

    Gorgeous shot, Senga! That sure is one helluva livery...

    LAL operates regular revenue flights, right? I know we usually only get the 763 and/or A330, but perhaps we can expect to see this ship again in the future.

    Looks like the OS 763 is taking a short break from JFK, for the next two weeks there are no flights on Tuesdays, 340's on Wed and Thursday, and 332's on Fri-Sat-Sun-Monday. Looks like the 763 will be back every day again starting in mid March !
