Arlington Cemeyery Flyover
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/09/23/vietnam-era-fliers-buried-side-by-side-at-arlington/

For the first time ever at Arlington, two Horse drawn cassions for two fallen heros buried together side by side and I would be there.

After a long drive down with Ricardo, we arrived and were soon out on the ramp taking pictures

we were lucky enough to have Douglas A26 Invader in our formation for the flyover which was the same type aircraft that went down.

This was all started and done by Warrior Aviation who I can say I PROUDLY photograph for

They Hid 2 bottles signed by the aircrew to go in Vandy 1 to give to the family's after the flyover

The service was awesome, the precision that the ceremony was done was amazing and it was an amazing day for all. Family's finally have their loved ones and they are home where they belong. There was a huge feeling of PRIDE and HONOR just to be present

The Ceremony Stopped for about 5 minutes as the fly over began, first was the B-25

Then the Douglas flanked by two Mustangs

Finally the L-39's came into view and did a missing man formation

There was lots of press

Incredible. I read about this one the news, how the Air Force couldn't afford a flyby and all these pilots privately got together and did this for these two heroes.

Great to see Fred, thank you so much for attending and sharing!

I agree, it's unbelievable the Air Force couldn't afford to do the tribute flyover because of ongoing the sequestration budget cuts and it's just great to see these 8 civilian pilots got together and made sure these two fallen heroes got the proper tribute they deserved !!
Thanks for sharing your outstanding pics of this very special tribute, Fred !

"Combined fuel cost for 8 Warbirds for an Arlington Memorial Flyover: $24,000" "The feeling you get honoring two of America's fallen hero's, when our pathetic, useless politicians do nothing but wrangle over and never settle on a budget, and deny them that honor: PRICELESS"

Pat is a great guy and the owner of vandy 1. He made it all possible and I am proud to call him my friend. He was an F/A 18 test pilot for the Navy

Mark "Crunchy" Burgess is a 2000+ hour tomcat pilot that flew the Demo for the F-14 in his later years. Mark Piloted the aircraft as Pat wanted to attend Arlington.

There are many more in the team but these are the key players. There is Sean, Dane, and pekker, Amy, Gary,General Johnson, and all are top notch people. I am proud to photograph for them.

Thanks for such nice compliments
