As of the 7th Allegiant is done in Bullhead. Harrah's got a better deal from Republic so now I get to see Frontier Embraers! Allegiant is sending 945 to IGM.

I think will mean the end of the the couple of 87s Allegiant had active. Sucks! Headed across the river to snag some parting shots.

Just got back, will go through em now. In the meantime here is 948 I shot couple of years ago. I will try to find out when they are parking her. Should be soon.

I did catch in MD-87 once at LGA at least. The only one Ive ever cought was a Vanguard MD-87

Is there a big difference between the different models? Allegiant flies out of AVP twice a week now and I've seen them with the -80, -83, -87 and -88 and aside from slightly different colors on the tails, they look the same to me.

The 87 was a shorter version of the MD-80. It's a bit confusing but the wiki page sums it up.

The MD-87, MD-90 and the MD-95(717) share the same tail. The top is parallel with the fuselage, while on the remainder of the DC-9 fleet, the top of the vertical stabilizer slopes down.
The shorter body with the big engines needed the extra stability.

G4's -87's have been into FLL a lot - 949 used to be a regular visitor here - shot it a lot..

Think that's it. G4 is gone. Wow end of an era here. Well Frontier tomorrow. So cool!
