I've attempted to listen to the JFK Tower several timeson Live ATC but get only silence. I typed-in JFK and got nothing. I typed-in 119.100 and also got nothing. I can't figure the problem.

I am listening to the tower, but I noticed that with Flash Player there was an issue. It's working with the Java and Microsoft Media player.

Thanks. I can finally listen to JFK using the Flash Version on my PC. I haven't listened to their ATC since just before 9-11. The voices sound the same. It must be the same controllers after so many years. Sadly, I can't listen on my iPhone as it doesn't get Flash or Java. It's some sort of copyright infrigement with Apple. Is there any way to listen using the iPhone so I could hear while spotting?

iPhone? Why there is an App for that :-)

LiveATC has their own app... works great! and you can listen to them via MP3 streams on the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch, but it is not reliable...

Or you can visit http://m.liveatc.net . It's what I do, that way I don't need to pay for the app:smile:.

Thanks. It's great I can actually hear ATC on my iPhone in the field. Strange that http://m.liveatc.net works on my iPhone but is dead on my old PC. It also refuses to play QuickTime videos and Java applets; no matter how often I try to install the missing plug-ins, they just won't install.
