One new feature on our site is the launching of a columnist team. We have brought on a group of writers to perform as experts in their own fields to write on a regular basis for you folks to enjoy. Some are names you know, others may be new to you, but their talents are strong and I'm flattered and grateful to have each of them aboard.
Though the feature revolves around a new site template that will be launching later, the writing starts today with the publishing of "The Clock is Ticking: Inside the Cockpit of a Japan-Bound Airliner During the Quake" (http://nycaviation.com/2011/03/the-clock-is-ticking-inside-the-cockpit-of-a-japan-bound-airliner-during-the-quake/), an add-on to a Delta pilot's story of trying to land in Japan when the tragic earthquake occurred by Justin Schlechter.
Mr. Schlechter is an international airline first officer that will be sharing his stories and technical knowledge with us regularly. You can also see some of his writing on his Positive Rate (http://37000.blogspot.com) blog.
Please have a look at today's article and stay tuned as we launch more writers over the coming days and weeks.
Thanks!
