I was reading a couple of the stories about the flooding from the recent storms, and came across this picture in one of them.

Caption: Small planes are clustered together after being towed to the only remaining dry land at Bloomsburg Airport in Pennsylvania.
With all that water (and the right cropping of the photo), it looks like a nice little island airport to nowhere, with a long line for take-off!

Did they really have to bother towing the Lake amphibian (all the way on the left of the 2006 photo)? Just call the tie-down an anchor, and everything's OK :>
The Ercoupe's in both photos - think the owner's getting tired of schlepping it around every time it rains?

haha.. yeah, I laughed when I noticed that. I guess its the right kind of plane for that airport.
