An American Airlines flight landed safely in San Antonio Wednesday afternoon after reports of a fire in flight.

There are no reports of injuries or the location of the fire.

American Airlines Flight 1178, an MD-83 aircraft, was enroute from McAllen, Texas to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport when it diverted to San Antonio.
