Tornado Hits Sun n’ Fun Airshow in Florida, Flipping Planes and Injuring Spectators

UPDATE 2:00PM ET: Earlier reports that a hangar had collapsed onto spectators have been confirmed false, according to BNO News. New info below.

A tornado tore through Lakeland-Linder Regional Airport in central Florida Thursday, flipping over planes tent filled with revelers attending the annual Sun n’ Fun Fly-in and Expo, according to reports. Fox News says seven people suffered minor injuries.

Up to 70 people are trapped in the collapsed hangar, according to local media reports. There is no word on their condition at this time.

    Their planes would probalby had a much better chance of surviving if they were oufitted with 140 MPH Angled Tie-Down Rings manufactured by http://www.aeromechtech.com for only $198. Also need 5,000 Lb tie down straps but alot less than $100,000+damage!
