NYC Airports Set to Receive $16 Million in Federal Funds

Senators Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer announced that the US Department of Transportation has allocated over $16 million for upgrades at Kennedy and LaGuardia airports. According to a report in Newsday, the funds will be used for taxiway extensions, runway, road access and noise reduction projects.
