    Re: Daily LGA Report

i didn't see this until i was leaving the employee lot. a columbian or eccuadorian BBJ was sitting at 5 towers with a heavy PAPD presence surrounding it. i couldn't get near the fence because of construction so i didn't get a good look at the titles. the flag on the tail appears to be of one of the two countries i've named. she's painted in a white top, grey bottom and two blue lines along the side the length of the fuselage.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I beleive it was the Columbian BBJ. She is here quite often. I did not catch that one on the inbound though.

    Re: Daily LGA Report

Wed 9-26 a USAF C-40B in the mostly white scheme departed around 1600 then as I worked a short day noticed a another USAF C-40B at Five Towers around 1800 this one in full Special Air Missions colors.

US Steelers 319 was in twice and the Panthers 319 thrice. A little side note my first time seeing the Panthers and tail is a brighter blue in person than the previous photos would suggest. And at least in my camera the blue was much less bright than with my eyes, basically like previous photos so something to keep in mind when photographing this aircraft.

    Cheers

Actually it was at LGA 3 times today doing BOS Shuttle turns. Because no US Special Scheme aircraft where scheduled to pass thru LGA today and I knew many photographers would be out for Kids Day I made some calls last night and got 717's routing changed for the 3 LGA visits, (Thanks Larry) I only wish I could have gotten more.

There was one more special but frequent visitor today, you will see her in the kids day photo's once people start uploading. A gift from US, my cool boss Lou, and yours truely.

I also understand the lone DL MD88 in the new colors paid a visit this morning.

    Cheers

I saw a bunch of spotters on the street by the Courtyard as we landed on 4 yesterday. I was on CO1832, a 737-800. Anyone have a photo of that arrival? It was around 4:35PM.
    It's the fares, stupid

    Re: Daily LGA Report

Monday, Oct 1st, nice surprise to see a ComAir CRJ-900 in the new DL colors operating one of their first revenue flights with their new big bird on a CVG-LGA-CVG turn. This was a 1 day flight but the same flight, a 1345 departure to CVG does show a 900 starting early in November.

Also DL brought in a 767-332 in the typical Deltaflot scheme.

    Cheers
