    Thanks Jeremy...

I just changed my typo from 767 to 757 which is what it is :-) it comes every so often from Bradley and never direct from Louisville or Philly which are the other cities along this route ... UPS 1121 or 1122 are the numbers I know of

Thanks John... I know it.. not because of time of year but PERIOD! I hear it is often not used for long periods... The wind on Saturday was PERFECTLY eastward :-) I totally lucked out but the light just dropped off in 15 minutes of me getting there.

UPS arrives from Bradley around 6:30am Tuesday - Saturday and departs to BDL around 8pm Monday - Friday. There's also a 757 that comes in from Louisville at 3am and departs at 4am to SYR (I don't have any photos of that flight ). We'll get some additional UPS flights this time of year from other locations for the Christmas rush - in the past those were often with DC-8s but I don't know if they operate those any more.

Surprised you had such a tough time fitting a lens through the fence gap, Manny... both my 70-200 f/2.8 and the 70-400 G fit through the fence gaps at ALB all right... albeit with limited panning range. Great shots! I was out at ALB yesterday, and 01 was in use. I love getting shots of jets turning on to TWY alpha, though a few got off at rwy 28.

You haven't seen his lens. It's literally the size of a bazooka.

EDIT: Obvious sexual reference was NOT originally intended, but since I can't think of a different way to word it without being so, I'll leave it be.

Daniel saw it LOL. At Panera a few months ago when it was still relatively warm enough to hang out and chat. Yeah forget the 200-400mm f/4, no way... the 70-200 does it but I can;t pan and that is just bad for me. I made a couple of mistakes and did not stop my very limited pan and then the fence did its job and the lens made a nasty crunching sound... not happy at all hahahaha. I guess a high position far from the fence will give a good view of the runway. I still don;t get why the fences are so high. I mean, if someone really needed to get into the perimeter, they could easily do it at current heights. All it serves is to obstruct the views for legitimate spotters.

I wish every airport would adapt "The Holes" :-)
