It's actually for the Houston - Luanda service replacing World Airways. The aircraft is in town for some pre ops stuff

Personally I think that color is pretty bad. Doesn't make the 747 look good at all.

Great shots by everyone. Excellent light! I have to go with Nik on this one though. It look's like someone took a beer piss in buckets of paint and sprayed the plane. Not the best paint job. The green Titan colors they use on the site for their leasing department would have looked much better.

Well it's something new. Paintscheme looks slightly less awful than the very first pics a few months back. Give yourselves a pat on the back, you all made it look better! Can't tell because of the light, is the fuselage white or a slight cream colored?

also Senga, Conrad posts on the site?

Mario the white seems to be a little off white. Not super white but muted. Yes definitely a disappointing livery.

Have you ever seen or heard of Conrad ever posting ANYTHING on NYCA?
Conrad- who has the best NYC aviation collection of any NYC photo over the last 18-19 years and no one has seen a single pick of his but me? :) Conrad......he is my mentor...Yea hes my hero of the year.....every year.

Senga, he does have an amazing collection doesn't he? and I've only seen small parts of it...
Believe he might also be the guy most responsible for all of us "finding" the mounds? :D

Anyway...nice shots by everyone. Sorry I missed it..hopefully the 2nd (or rumored 3rd) Dusty Atlas makes it to JFK...
