Back from Paris, AF was Great, great flights great food,

the 777-300 from JFK-CDG I sat in 18A the first seat in econ. by the door, only had the window in the door but 10 ft. of legroom. behind me was a zoo, my wife flew the day before and said it was very cramped in a reg. seat. flt. was ready to leave ontime at 7:25 but we sat at the gate for an hour because there was no room to push back. then once we did get moving we were num. 18 for take-off so that was another hour we finally lifted off at 9:25 but after a smooth flight and 2 bottles of wine and 2 or 3 movies we landed at CD in very heavy fog only 20 min. late Parked in the middle of nowhere and had a 20 minute bus ride to the terminal. couldn't get any shots in the fog and when I tried to take a pick of the plane as I walked to the bus I was asked very quickly to put the camera away. On the way out of the airport on the bus to paris I saw a MaxJet 767 at CDG.

On flight home yesterday had a 747-400, we had seats upstairs, there are 60 econ seats on the upperdeck and there were 7 of us up there. It was great!!!!plenty of room and again 2 bottles of wine and great food. We were comming in early till we had to circle over riverhead for 15min. then after we laned on 22 we sat on a taxiway for an hour waiting for a gate. but while waiting saw Boeing BJ's from Columbia and Morraco for the UN.I got shots of Morraco.

to me it seems that Term. 1 doesn't have enough space around it and that causes all the backup at the gates and there are too many flights leaving at the same time from the limited amount of space.

And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

I missed this thread earlier, so I didn't get to warn Tommy: Just make sure it's your face that's pressed up against the window!
