Or, to put it in the terms given to me by a HP friend, it's "US Airways Express operated by Mesa d/b/a America West Express" if you sold it as "US" or "America West operated by Mesa d/b/a America West Express" if you sold it as "HP".

Yes, I can sell the flight as HP. At least for the time being.

So who here is going to be out for the arrival/departure of the CRJ900 on Saturday? I will surely be out there.

Ron/Matt...can I confirm with one of you that there are still no CRJ900s painted in the new color scheme? I just want to find out if there is any chance that the CRJ900 coming to LGA won't be in HP Express colors.

Josh, to the very best of my knowledge none have been repainted, so will be in HP Express colors. BTW there are two HP 319's (and 2 320's) in ROW being repainted so we may see a US 319 in the new colors soon but not at LGA, have to go to JFK or EWR to see it !

    Cheers

hey phil you need to answer your phone when you're looking for flight info. 5026 arrived to LGA around 1436 and was off the gate as flt 5075 at 1500. the crew was very welcoming and happy to introduce us all to the airplane. they were even willing to congratulate our fellow supervisor on the birth of his quintuplets last night. =D

the plane is pretty friggin long though, feels a lot like a B737 or E170 during the pushback. of course, since i screw up every single pushback of the CR7 on weekday mornings i managed to get this one direct on the diamond and straight on the line.

i didn't bother taking the camera to work today due to the wx. since i'm a trainer i was tasked with the first sign-offs for the airplane so i was working the flight and would not be able to shoot it anyway. rampside shots will come next week.

oh yea, it was in HP colors.

Now this was pretty damn cool. I had never seen AWA at LGA before...just one of Dennis Wong's shots of an HP E145 at the gate from way-back-when...and we almost didn't see it at all with the fog as low and thick as it was!

Josh was about to **** his pants, too. :)

I can't wait to get this bird in better light some other weekend!

Great pic Mike! I think the new livery looks better on that than the Airbus.
