    well I have the Ipad and the App now I just need someone to send me somewhere. :)

    I don't mean to be Captain Obvious here, but...can't you see the same thing by getting a window seat and looking out the window(which is about as live view as one can get)

    What am I missing here? Will the app point out things like landmarks?

    Yes, the app does point out landmarks.
    It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do
