    The crew and aircraft were assigned to the 145th Airlift Wing of the North Carolina ANG, based out of CLT. Reports out of Charlotte are that at least 4 of the 6 man crew were lost, and at least one is hospitalized in serious condition.

    I had the opportunity to catch a couple of the 145th's birds down at CLT on my recent visit, and from reports I've heard, this may be the aircraft lost, 93-1563.
