LOT Polish Changes to New York Market

    According to this article:

    http://finance.yahoo.com/news/lot-po...094500330.html

LOT Polish Airlines will be consolidating their New York operations to Terminal 1 at JFK effective September 1st. This means that the daily WAW-EWR-WAW flight will be terminated and onward connections from JFK will be provided by JetBlue. The article mentions that LOT plans to operate the 787 to JFK as of January 2013, making it the first confirmed 787 for JFK!

Surprised LOT would be the first- isn't that route a little on the short side for the 787 or do I need a geography lesson

Nah, it's about on par with their 767 service. Besides, the 787 should bring customers just for the pleasure of the new craft :-)
I thought maybe RAM would be first...

very cool... hopefully i'll get to see it on my scopes at work! just wish they'd stick to the current scheme!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
