EDIT - Strange, they've had hybrids where the belly didn't get painted until later, but there are earlier photos of this a/c with the blue belly.

Nice shot Mark !! It looks pretty good with a gray belly; reminds me a bit of the classic look of the latest Continental livery. Meanwhile, just the other day I wondered how the Delta livery would look if the belly was metallic..

Okay, looking at this photo, I'd say the photographer got the year wrong: It should have been 2010, and I'm going back to my original post, which said the belly just hadn't been painted yet at the time of the photo![]()

I am assuming they painted the tail before having a chance to paint the belly... Looks like a few deltas are still flying around that way...
