    Venezuela to buy 4 A345s

    Im wondering if these aircraft are coming from Etihad or Emirates.... i was not aware of neither airline planning to sell these birds if thats whats going on..

    ...aren't they buying B777s like they are going out of style? Do they make room in the fleet or keep operating both types? A340 is getting old for the image the Arabian airlines want to portray ... that of brand new luxury and space. But what do I know? lol...

    They're coming from Etihad, which has exactly four A345s. (They ordered five, but the last one was the plane that crashed into a wall in Toulouse.) http://nycaviation.com/2012/01/venez...-buying-binge/

    Not to nitpick Matt - but the Toulouse incident was a -600 - not a -500.

    so whats is it gonna be for JFK? A346? or maybe 77W, or even A380 when it comes to the fleet?
