    EZjet 767-200 at JFK? (Pic)

I just taxied past a 767-200 belonging to EZJet, reg N787DA (?), parked at a T1 remote stand. Does anyone have any info on the airline or aircraft? Never heard of it before.

It's new service (just stated today!) from Guyana:

New charter gets Cabinet green light to fly Guyana/New York December 10, 2011 | By KNews

Guyana’s newly-appointed Cabinet of Ministers has approved a new public charter flight to be operated between Guyana and New York. EZjet Air Services has offices in Guyana and Florida, USA. The US Department of Transportation also approved the EZjet charter programme, as PC 11-188, a statement from Sonny Ramdeo, the company’s Director of Payroll/HCM/Workforce Systems.

EZjet will begin its B767 wide-body flights next Thursday, December 15 in the evening, “providing Guyana passengers from and to New York with spacious seating, a generous baggage allowance, and a complimentary in-flight meal and beverages.”

Flights will operate six days each week, except Wednesdays, departing New York JFK at 22:45 hrs and arriving Georgetown at 05:15hrs, then departing Georgetown at 06:30 hrs arriving New York JFK at 10:30 hrs.

I don't know about that registration number - the FAA database is acting flaky this morning, but it looks like N787DA belongs to a Cessna.

Thanks for the info, moose! I drove past the aircraft and saw the reg is actually N767DA. I took a crappy shot but I'll post it once I get home.

Wow! Looks like the previous holder of that registration was a Delta Airlines L-1011.

Checking N767DA, looks like it is registered to Dynamic Aviation Group, and was operated by JAL as JA8232.

Hey they are just being cost conscious on the paint and kept it simple. I can't even read the titles lol.

Perhaps they can make the EZjet logo even smaller and put it on the door handle.

Apparently the "EZ" means EZ to paint.

New entrants from Guyana don't exactly have a stellar track record. Isn't Dynamic Aviation the one that does a lot of flying for the State Department and other government entities with King Airs and the like?
