    ...when given a choice between 'getting some' and or spotting an L-1011/747SP the rare plane not only wins but does so without giving it a second thought. Truly hardcore when you go after the plane, don't get it, end up losing out on both options...but still think that going for the plane was the right choice.

    ...when half the JFK PAPD rolls up on you guns drawn and then immediately lets you go after recognizing you as a spotter!

    ...when you go to KLAS, walk into a Home Depot, buy ladders and then donate them to a local before returning home, you're a spotter!

    you spend 10 hours flying from Leipzig to JFK,and the first thing you notice planeside is the South AFrican A340-600 banking off of 31L,followed by the QATAR 777 etc.etc.
    The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
