there goes a great flying day.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

He is actually showing some consideration with his scheduled departure time at least.

What do news chopper do during these TFRs? They just don't fly?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Arriving during evening rush hour is not too voter-friendly.

They are currently on the 22's. Do you think they will stay on 22 or go with 31-L

Matt, I agree, however, I am not there so I am not sweating it. Come to think of it, in the span of his catastroministration, I don't think he's ever not traveled at douche bag hours when JFK is concerned.

Here's a (dark) video I shot of Marine One lifting off a few mins past 9pm...

Brooklyn Heights Promenade at the end of Clark St. Perfect, unobstructed view of JRB, though you need a slightly longer lens than what I was using (28-135) for good photos. Also helps if the sun is out, and helps more if it's in the morning or early afternoon, otherwise it's backlit. Actually thinking of putting together a spotting guide for it.
