Sweet Eric. I was in hte car commenting to the family about the arrivals. Nice to see you catchin them.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Great stuff Eric........some nice specials as well. Sorry I didn't get a chance to make it out, but I did manage to get a few shots from the backyard.

Qantas climbing out off RWY 31L (typically she banks much earlier, but this time she was flying the RWY heading before banking)

American banking as the sun starts to set

Probably one of my favorite Evergreen catches as the sun luminates the belly

Great set Eric! I have to get my a@@ down there on a weekday. Oh, and that BA A318 must make a quick turn-around at JFK, as I saw it passing over my house at about 7:45-8:00ish.

Fantastic shots, love the turns. What were you using for the Virgin high-level shot?

For the Virgin high-level shot I was using my 300mm f/4 lens with a 2.0x teleconverter attached on a Nikon D300 body. The image has been cropped as well. I believe the reg id. is G-VWEB on the A340 after looking at the original image.
