First demo flight means the first time it's been flying in public, right? I'm sure there was an X-47, either a mockup or prototype at the Pax River show a couple years ago. There was a Global Hawk there, too!

I have a poster from Grumman with all of the planes they have made over the years. The last one on there was the X-47b. It couldn't have been too secret.

i recall seeing spy pictures of the a/c landing in either Bagram or Kabul a couple months ago, and CGI videos of the type a few years ago. it's not like the F-117 that was developed in complete secret... but now the cat's out of the bag and i'm curious as to what it's capable of.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
