Exclamation AA 737-800's At JFK By Years End?

I am currently looking up flights on AA.com and a former Mad Dog non stop from TPA-JFK is showing it as a 738 on NOV 28, 2010. It would seem when they switch over to the winter peak flight season they will no longer send MD-80's on the route. Does anybody have some info on this?

No idea, but it would make sense since the 738s have a lot more seats.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

There will indeed be more 737-800s and less Super 80s at JFK starting Nov 18th. JFK-SEA, which is now flown by 757s will change over to the 738. AA is also adding a second LAS flight. One will be a 757 and the other a 738. AA is also upping the JFK-MCO flights to 4/day. Two will be 757s and the other two will be 738s. The JFK-AUS and the new JFK-FLL flights look like they will remain S80s for now. LGA-MIA will also see more 738 flying. Currently, they are all operated by 757s.
