House Built of Old 747 Parts

My sister told me that she saw a report on CNN, I believe, where a woman built her home in Malibu entirely out of parts from scrapped 747s. She only loves the 747.I will try to Google to see if I could find-out more. I thought I was obsessed with 747s but this woman takes the prize.

Yes, it's true. The house is named the "Wing House" by architect David Hertz. It's entirely being built from old 747 parts from a California boneyard. It doesn't say which 747 aircraft was used but the FAA asked her to paint-out all previous markings. The parts cost $100,000. It is supposed to be environmentally friendly. More to come.
