    Delta to Replace N610DL with a 767-400!

According to the linked article above, Delta will be painting a 767-400 in the "pink" livery to extend their message internationally. It would be nice if they kept N610DL in the scheme simultaneously. I imagine the new aircraft will look great! Lucky for us Delta will have a pretty large 767-400 base at JFK this summer.

    that, would be pretty cool!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

That's awesome!!! Finally a DL scheme worth shooting again. Keep me posted on when it's scheduled to roll out if you can, I'll try to get a shot of it at ATL or at the TOC if possible.

    Information found on Anet:

I have found out on another site (cannot post it here) that the aircraft will be N845MH, scheduled to be repainted on May 25.

Also, the livery will be somewhat different from N610DL; it will feature a pink underbelly and pink tail with a pink widget. The front logo will be the standard red widget and blue logotype, with the phrase "Force for Global Good" below it.

Thanks for posting the scheme kc2aqg, sorry but it get's a big yawn from me. All it is is the current DL scheme changed to pink, still has a TON of boring white. Both the original Song and current scheme on 610DL are way better, I especially like the current multi shades of pink on 610. The 757 visits many stations, as previously stated the 764 visit what say 25-30 stations. Every body has their own take on the subject but I prefer a small aircraft that can be seen by many more people at many more places, a 738 to me makes more since.

    My 2 cents

Though it'll be nice to have a new special scheme, that falls short of the excitement brought by the previous pink Deltas. All they did was replace existing blue with pink. No swirly ribbons or anything.

I know what you mean. While it will be classified as a special scheme its a really lame one. I hope that sketch is wrong. We need to start tracking 610 now before it gets painted over.

This is my favorite Pink Special Scheme from the mid 80's, N356PA/N356QS "Rosie"

As some of you know I spent about 2 and half fun years working at Northeastern, so flew on this olde girl several times and worked her and her Blue sister "Puff" many times. Note the Silver Lining between the Pink Sky and the clouds.

And though not really a Special scheme, my second favorite Pink airliner though I never got to see her in person.

    Cheers

Those two liveries are beautiful Ron, especially Court line. Didn't get the chance to see either, but from pictures I had thought the blue/pink cloud schemes were simply Northeastern's regular livery for a time.

DL's pink 757 aside, off the top of my head I've only seen a single airline using pink, a color which IMO looks great on planes. Pink Citgo is too eurowhite for my taste.

I agree with everyone - this will be a disappointing logo jet for DL. I really like current scheme on 610 - and - as Ron said, to put it on an aircraft that goes to so few stations compared to 610 - yes - it's international, but why not go like AA and have a local and international presence for it!

    This will be a downer....

Well at least I was able to get 610 a little over a month ago. Though I can do better now since I finally know my camera full out.

I think Delta has really dropped the ball on this one - not imaginative at all - 610 and the old Song pink were a lot better looking - this is just the basic scheme in pink.
