Spirit Pilot Strike

Just a heads up to everyone... Spirit and ALPA are in a cooling off period untill June 12th on negotiations for a new contract. I would not book Spirit if I were you because my bets are June 12th Spirit pilots walk the line. Talked to a pilot from Spirit I know to confirm information and it is legitimate. Spirit is making threats that if pilots strike they are going to lay off a large number of workers non pilot. That however wouldnt be possible beccause it would require a 60 day notice as per labor laws. Just a heads up though. As if any of us would book with them to begin with..... Hahaha

More news from spirit. heh there done for if you ask me. This is the nail in the coffin. Yea they can lay off ground workers but they still cant fly anywhere without pilots. They still loose money.
