Terrific shots, Enrico! Really great work! What camera/lens did you use for these?

Very interesting shots. I never realized MD-80s are similar to B-737 that they don't have covers for the main landing gears.
 Amazing! Please do tell what you were shooting with.

Beautiful!
Any idea whose 747 that is in the last shot?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Ahh, yes, that would make sense based on the colors.Originally Posted by lijk604

Great stuff!
I echo everyone else.............this are fantastic captures. Looks like the Sigma (or Bigma) served you well. I'm hoping to purchase one of there big boys in the near future (either a 300mm/f2.8 or there is word that Nikon may be releasing some new lenses near the end of spring......rumor has it a 200-500mm).
You should trying capturing the International Space Station (ISS).
Again............fantastic images!
impressive quality for rnavs....

Yep, its one of Cargolux's RR powered 744's. Those are mint looking airplanes on the inside. Very clean main deck's. Put an S76 on one TC-HMT at JFK with the old man when I was like 12 or 13. First time on the flight line at JFK. LX-LCV was the 747.
