Will never forget. I had a vehicle pass to KSC for that launch, but decided at last minute not to go do to the wx. forecast. Little did I know.
Train as if your life depends on it. Because some day it may.

I still only know fragmented details of the event. I remember hearing about it though. My heart sunk. I couldnt beleive it when I heard it from someone. When I finally found out for sure what had happened it was because I saw the cover of an old Time Magizine someplace. I couldnt fathom it. I always hoped that the crews death was instantanious and not remotely prolonged. That would be a horrible way to go.
Southwest Airlines-"Once it pop's it's time to stop" Southwest Airlines-"Our Shamu's are almost real" Southwest Airlines -"We blow our top real easy" Southwest Airlines- "You can't top us..... really"
Well we will never truely know how they went but we can hope they went quickly.
