Just got a text from a friend on an AA flight to SEA today that the AA terminal is being evacuated due to a security breach. Even those already on planes will have to be re-screened. She was already on the flight with the doors closed when they got the word. Hope it's not a repeat of EWR. Will try to post more info when I get an update.

Terminal evacuated, everyone being rescreened. No flights in or out.
Allegedly someone went through an employee entrance.

Passengers being allowed back into JFK's Terminal 8 after man seen using employee-only door prompted evacuation - AP
PAPD Radio stated male breached two employee doors and was seen leaving on video minutes later.

Can some one who knows about JFK explain what employee door this is ?
I think I recall reading in the AA forum on Flyertalk that this is an employee door from the club. Is the club pre-security?

There are two Admirals Clubs at JFK and both are post-security. I've used both numerous times and the exits are clearly marked.
