Naval Air Station Oceana - January 6-7, 2010

I and two friends met up with a few more friends for some spotting at NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach last week. The weather wasn't ideal (think cold, but slightly warmer than the temperatures up here) but the skies were beautiful. Hope you don't mind a lot of Hornets and Super Hornets!

Runways in use were 32L and 32R.

Thanks Chris! I figured you guys would be interested in seeing spotting from two different views - through videos (rather than photos) and of all military aircraft.

It should be noted that in the videos - I believe the first video shows it but I can't quite remember - that I have video of a Cessna Caravan. It has a civil registration, but back in 2004, I was told not to get any photos or videos of the airplane(s). No reason was given at the time as to why I couldn't film/photograph them, but I learned through the locals that they are used for Naval special operations missions.
