    i heard about this, i wonder if they're going to operate indepent of one another or combine everything.
    it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

    Probably will mirror the operations of Air France/KLM.

    I believe KLM may yet be folded into Air France entirely; There may be a future date upon which the current two brand arrangement may sunset? We'll see.

    But BA and IB are supposed to be operated as separate brands indefinitely, (as of now), as far as I know. I would have to believe this merger though, even if it stays as separate brands, would increase the chances of seeing an A380 in IB colors down the road, and kills whatever sliver of a chance there was for an IB 747-8i.
