    IAD 10/11 Spotting Pics

I was visiting schools in DC over the long weekend and took the opportunity to spot at IAD on Sunday. I haven't spotted at IAD before when the 1's have been in use so it was nice to check out the Udvar Hazy museum and then head over toe garage 1 for departures.

The highlight was definitely the Austrian 767-300 with winglets, shame it wasn't in the regular scheme though.

Very nice - I visited IAD twice while I lived in DC and never got even close to this lucky! Great shots.

When has special scheme lose its attractiveness to a regular scheme? :D

    Great shots as usual.

Great shots Gordon! Were you out with Fasil that day? Great catch on that 747, still haven't been able to see one of those at Dulles.

Thanks for the UAL 777. Launch customer for the type, and we just don't see them up here anymore, since the KEWR-EGLL flights stopped.

Thanks guys, it was nice to see some United 777 action. Although I got plenty of them at SFO and LHR earlier this year.

I was with Fasil that day, it was nice to meet him. He's planning on coming up to JFK for the A380. Planelove, I took the arrival shots from the Udvar Hazy parking lot and the departure shots from daily garage 1.

Gordon, I'm coming up to JFK next weekend if it doesn't rain, maybe you want to meet up? Also, We did get another KL 744 today. Too bad the weather is so awful.
