LGA Weekend Runway Closures for September

Sept 04 Update:

LGA Runway 4-22 will be closed from Sat. Sept. 5th starting 00:01L until Sunday, Sept. 6th ending 06:00L

Also many carriers will be flying a very reduced schedule at LGA on Sun Sept 6th due to the Labor Day Weekend.

Sept 11 Update:

Construction closeures have been cancelled for Sat Sept 12 due to forecasted weather however Rwy 13-31 will be closed from 0600-1200N due to the planned LGA Emergency drill.

Sept 18 Update:

LGA Runway 4-22 will be closed from Sat Sept 19th starting at 0001 lcl until Sunday Sept 20th ending at 1200N lcl.

Based on forecasted winds LGA will likely be up and down 31 and while I realize many will be at JFK this weekend the weather should be really nice for anyone interested in the Marina for 31 arrivals.

Sept 25 Update:

LGA Runway 4-22 will be closed from Sat Sept 26th starting at 0001 lcl until Sunday Sept 27th ending at 0600 lcl. Because of Kids Day their will also be many more taxiways closed than normal. Based on forecasted winds Runway 13 ops are likely giving Kids Day attendees the rare chance to shoot 13 arrivals.
