Disappointing Visit to JFK

I visited JFK on Sept. 23, hoping to get a glimpse of some interesting aircraft because of the UN sessions. I rode around on the AirTrain and only spotted a Vietnam Airlines aircraft. There were no other unusual aircraft visitors in sight, not even Air Force 1. I wonder where all these aircraft were hiding. I was hoping to see Khadafy's aircraft but didn't. I did get the opportunity to say farewell to the Olympic staff and relate how I will miss seeing their aircraft with the rings on the tail.

Just about everything had arrived before Wednesday, and virtually everything (including the VC-25) repositioned elsewhere - SWF, IAD, etc., for the duration of the UN session.

I avoided going before Wednesday since I figured the security force would be great. You'd never know that the VIPs left from the security forces I saw at JFK. This explains why I saw few VIP aircraft. I thought that the VC-25 had to be close-by in case of emergency. Maybe it returned to Andrews.

The VC-25 usually goes to SWF if POTUS is going to be in NYC for a few days.
