Just saw on Fox Obama is headed here to give a speech about Cronkite or something. Assume he is headed to JFK. He has hasn't boarded so you may have some to get out there if the wx cooperates.
Edit he just boarded.

"You above all"
I saw AF One parked next to the triple hangars, a C-17 parked near HGR7, and a Sea Knight departing from near the VC-25.

Greetings,
A few shots of 82-8000 with Obama on board departing JFK. 13L departure. probably my 10 billionth shot of AF1.
A few shots from the other day are below.
Senga
Nice shots Senga.
do the VH-3s get folded up and flown back to ADW on a C-5? i think it would be faster to ferry them down there...
senga you got my fav angle of the 747...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I think the C-5(17?) is for the motorcade vehicles.
The c-5 is indeed for the Presidential limo
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

i know that, but a VH-3 won't fit inside a C-17. how do they move those is my question.Originally Posted by Gerard

VH-3s are ferried from Quantico to New York (or anyplace else within a short radius). If they need to fly VH-3s somewhere in CONUS, they pull a C-5 for the job. Overseas trips usually use both -3s and -60s. Does a -60 fit in a C-17?
Glad to see 04-4133 was the C-17 in on Sunday, so I didn't miss anything there.
EXCELLENT shots, vidiot! Those views are not very common like that.
