Airport Service Vehicle Hit Worker

NEW YORK - A contractor driving a service truck struck and killed a female contractor at LaGuardia Airport.
Port Authority officials say the woman was hit at around 5 a.m. on Wednesday. She died about an hour later at Elmhurst Hospital.
Fire Department officials say the woman was hit near in an operations area near the Delta Terminal, away from the runway.
It's not clear what happened in the moments before the unidentified woman was hit.
