    LGA Special Visitors

A representative from SeaWorld, San Antonio, will be transporting 2 penguins on Delta Airlines flights later this week. They will be arriving on Wednesday July 22 on Delta Airlines Flight 1580 to ATL and Flight 1786 to LGA and returning to San Antonio on Friday July 24th on Delta Airlines Flight 19 to ATL and Flight 2073 to SAT. The penguins will be traveling in the passenger cabin

Awesome! Wish I was a passenger on those flights. Penquins are def some of the coolest creatures in this world. Hope someone gets some shots of that!

Southwest Shamu would seem more appropriate, but I guess the penguins might have objected to flying inside a penguin-eating whale. :)

Actually, Southwest was (is?) the official airline of Seaworld - the reason behind the Shamu scheme, and used to fly the penguins on promotional flights. I don't know that they ever flew in a Shamu, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
